Gifting Transfers
This service enables the registration of a property gift, whether total or partial, in favor of first-degree relatives such as parents, spouse, or children. Once registered, the transaction provides legal recognition of the gift, ensures proper documentation of the transfer, and results in the issuance of an updated title deed reflecting the new ownership.
What you’ll need
Copy Of The title deed
Original passport/Copy if a POA
Copy of UAE Visa & Emirates ID for UAE Resident
No objection certificate (NOC) from developer.
Evaluation certificate
Birth certificate (for gifting to children), translated to legal Arabic (if not Arabic) and if certificate issued outside UAE the attestation from Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required
Marriage certificate (for gifting to wife or husband), translated to legal Arabic (if not Arabic) and if certificate issued outside UAE the attestation from Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required
A legal power of attorney in case of a representative (if applicable)
Service Fees
Land Department
0.125% of the evaluation value (minimum 2,000 AED).
560 AED If Apartment/Villa/Office.
410 AED If Land.
Registration Trustee
4,000 AED + 200 AED (5% VAT)
if the evaluation of the property is equal or more than 2 Million AED.
2,000 AED + 100 AED (5% VAT)
if the evaluation of the property is less than 2 Million AED.
